Today I felt a little better, so I decided to go on a short walk with Luke.

Oh snap. Is that a freaking FEMUR?! We were almost exactly behind our house, by a canal and giant field. I took Luke home, showed Dad a picture, then he went to see it, and he called the police from there just in case of the bad.

So after second opinions, other cops, and a call or two to the homicide division, it was decided it's probably from a cow or elk. The were still verifying it wasn't human when they had us go home, and there've been no calls or visits.
So that's how I discovered the dismembered limb of some poor animal...
